Based in the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, SYNTHESIS  is a Center for the development of Social Entrepreneurship and a learning events provider. 

We are working to promote social entrepreneurship and social innovation through training, research, and promotional events. We are also developing innovative, entrepreneurial models to address social or environmental challenges. We are currently working in implementing a social enterprise based on an integrated model of environmental preservation and social inclusion.  

In addition, we are a learning events provider. Our learning events aim to inspire and empower learners. We give special attention to learning for personal growth and view life-long learning as a natural process in a person's life. The people who are at risk of social exclusion, young or adults, is our priority.

Since 2003, we have a European presence through our participation in European project consortiums. We designed and run the pioneering project "Social skills and Healthier self Esteem" (SHE) which enabled women to build healthier self esteem through their participation in social learning circles. We have come a long way since then and have participated in numerous projects on personal development, employment and social inclusion.

In the current decade, we are focusing on actions that can empower people, improve social inclusion, and have a green and sustainable effect on the planet we live in. Last but not least, we are active in sharing with others our passion for social entrepreneurship and transmitting its spirit for social change and a better world.
